We need some rain here and then it would be snow in the high country.

We are in a little drought cycle and I hope it ends soon.

Last winter did not have much snow pack so I know we need some this winter.

I was up in South Lake Tahoe last weekend for a day and there was NO SNOW. Not just down by the lake but no snow anywhere. On the peaks around the Lake, at the resorts that usually make snow, anywhere. Very scary.

Was up at Reno, yesterday (visiting my money) :lol: :lol: :lol: . Very windy and sunny. I'd estimate the daytime (PM) temps in Truckee at around 35 degrees (in full sun).

The Truckee River is as low as I've ever seen it in the area around stateline. Looked like a "crick". :( :( Stopped in at the Rainbow Lodge for a meal and noticed the South Fork of the Yuba River is literally a trickle. Water flow is not visible among the rocky areas. Both were gin clear.... :( :( The weather was chilly during the daylight hours and it was forecast to get down to 5 degrees, last night. :shock: :shock: I'll bet those Trout'll be wearing their long johns and not getting up until the afternoon sun hit's the water. :D :D
