Olympus or Pentax

I looking at the two waterproof cameras for a future purchase. The Pentax Opt is compact but it's limited to depth and is not shock resistance. The Olympus 770 has a greater depth and is shock resistance. Does anyone have a Olympus 770. Have you ever dropped it from a couple feet. I don't plan on bouncing it around but you never know. Now they have a new Olympus that will be coming out by Christmas. I believe it's a 990 model

Jay, the first thing my supervisor at Best Buy did when we got in those Olympus cameras was to drop it on the ground, it kept on working. The Olympus is more durable but after playing with the Olympus in the store for a while I believe the Pentax takes a better picture.
