Senior Bird called me yesterday to go fishing in the afternoon till dark at a mountain lake. It seemed like it would be a nice break from steelheading. I picked Jbird up at around 1 or 2 oclock and away we went. The solitude was nice at the lake with almost no one else around and the fishin was good also. Nows the time to hit the lakes before they freeze up. I always chase steelhead to long and miss this nice fishery and the quiet solitude. Thanks to Jbird for dragging me away from the river. Here are a couple of pictures of a few of the fish we caught. A couple were to big to get a picture of laying on the stripping basket.

This is Gods country. You can catch steelhead in the rivers and lakes :D Mark, I wish I could have seen the huge one you landed. Its hard to pan back far enough to get a picture when your subject is laying in your lap...especially if its as big as your leg :D Those are some fun fish!
