San Louis Reservoir and the Delta are good now for Stripers.
Wind is a issue.
Don't fish on the weekends unless you have too.
Top water Striper is good now too. Capt. Kevin Doran is great at this. We have some video at the shop of him and Charlie Bisharat boating a 26#er on top water.
From now through to early December should be very good for Stripers.
Try to get out with a top Delta fly fishing guide if you want to catch fish and learn good techniques.
Get a day with a friend in November booked with one of the Delta Striper fly fishing guides like Kevin Doran, Mike Costello, Dan Blanton, Ed Marcillac or Jerry Neuburger.
