I spent last Monday and Tuesday on the Klamath, so I just wanted to post a quick report.
As I was going up to Ashland to visit WillJ, I spent both days on the upper river, anywhere from about 25 miles below I5 to a couple of miles above I5. The fishing was pretty slow, with only one half-pounder hooked. Unfortunately, it started jumping and threw the hook, but it was nice to actually hook something on the spey rod.
Didn't see any signs of fish in the sections where I fished, but that may have changed with the recent rains, so take my report with a grain of salt.
It was still nice to get a couple of days on the river working on my spey casting, and to get the opportunity to fish with Will for a day.

Nice riffle down below I5

Cool photos 'pm'.

I think you were just a little too far upstream.

Most fish are usually from Happy Camp downstream this time of year.
