A few weeks ago Marilyn and I went back to our little fishing shack in Sebastian, Florida on the central east coast of Florida. We bought it several years ago because some of our grandkids lived near there.

Terry Thomas and his wife Elane came to stay with us for a week. We had a great time sight seeing to cool places like the Kennedy Space Center and we did a little fishing too.

Terry and I went out with Erick Davis, owner of the "Backcountry" tackle shop in Vero Beach. We fished from 7am till noon catching some seatrout and jacks and then took a break.

We met Erick again at 8pm to fished under the lights on peoples docks around Vero Beach till around mid-night.

I had heard about this type of fishing but had never done it. There were mainly Snook and Tarpon under the lights along with a few Snappers and Ladyfish. It was a wonderful experience seeing the fish swimming under the docks eating bait fish attacked by the lights. Terry landed a nice Snook and we both missed others. It was wild watching the fish swim out after our flies from beneath the docks.

We also fished the little fresh water canal behind our little house in Sebastian. We had some rain and cool weather so the bass and panfish were not active in the canal this time.
