View Full Version : Any good advice for a begginer

Im affraid ive been bitten ,by the worst bug ,hmmm I think this looks so much more enticing than just regular flyfishing ,havent done it yet but after seeing my first video on it ,gonna have to sell some equiptment to go up ,any advice would be greatly appreciated ,someone told me on another spey board ,try to attend a clave ,seems they dont have them down here in the bay area

The best advice i could give would be to book a spey class or lesson with Jeff Putnam and see if you like spey casting and then go from there. Jeff has rods you can try out during lessons to find one that fits you and your stroke. The closet spey clave thing in the bay area would be the spey-o-rama in april at the golden gate casting ponds.
