Hey Fellas(and gals), just thought that I would throw a photo in the gauntlet. I took this last night. It may apear a little dark on some monitors. I would love to see the photo forum get some more play!

Amazing shot!

Did you "paint" the moss on the rocks with a flashlight taken with a long exposure?

How'd you get those colors?

Thanks Adam. I used a rear curtain flash, which essentially fires at the end of the exposure. I also used a polarizer and a Grad. ND filter to hold back the sky.

Wow, talk about taking control of the shot, great job! I need to take the plunge and buy a D-SLR.

What do you shoot with?

I have been through the Canon Rebel XT, Nikon D80 and now I shoot with the new Pentax K10D. In my opinion, the Pentax is far and away the best camera in this class. I won't go into details, but definitely research this camera if you are looking to get into a DSLR.
