This is a great article and should be adhered too wherever salmon return to spawn.

Both the American and the Feather have lots of natural spawning areas that I'm sure get trampled to no end by the careless folks trying to get to better water.

These "clean" gravel redds are VERY obvious on a darkened algae covered bottom. But after a few people have walked over or stood on these spots they seem less defined.

I think it would be great for local clubs or organizations to post signs at various access points informing the general public about nesting areas and not walking on these nurseries.
