...finds an acorn :D
Man this year has been tough for me. I was out thismorning and after 2 hours of poverty, I started dreaming of bass. disecting my garage in my mind, trying to find my bass flies. I was jarred awake by the unfamiliar tug of something truly mean. Suddenly I was looking at more backing than I've seen since mexico.
This fish really suprised me in more ways than one. It didnt look like a rogue fish. It has the look of a coastal fish to me. I was very glad to see it. I hope he survives to spawn with an equal suitor. This is just what the rogue needs for its future steelhead population.

The numbers on the rogue are down this year and we seem to be hiding in the shadow of the klamath. Maybe I'll head down there to sample some of those fish. The rogue has really been a "casting practice river" this year.
