I made it out this evening on the creek. I ended up with a little over ten fish to net, the largest being a belly-bulging 17"er. I lost just as many fish. One of the fish lost was a really nice fish, about 20" and SUPER FAT. He bent the hook out. It wasn't on a #24 hook, either. He straightened a #16 TMC 3769. Hot flies for the day were #16-18 micromays and a #24 drowned midge. There was a nice BWO hatch going on today. There were a couple of sizes coming off of the water, so I rigged a pair of micromays and started to hammer fish. I didn't see one caddis, but there were the usual million midges lining the banks. A major plus today was the lack of wind. The water's been too nice. I haven't worn waders on the creek in a couple of months, and I won't be putting them on anytime soon.

Sorry, I guess I didn't specify. I fixed it, though.

Great job! Given the location of that creek and the kind of pressure it seems to get, I'm continually surprised by the kind of quality fish it continues to put out. Very nice!
