A shot taken in late afternoon at Rip Rap. The hard thing about shooting on the N.U. is that everything is down in kind of a canyon so there are a lot of shadows and glare in the late afternoon and earyl morning.

It's amazing how those trees seem to grow just about anywhere, including on that ledge. Makes for very striking scenery. 8)

Great shots --- they really impart the character of the river as I remember it.
