We will have all of the new TFO 'Deer Creek' Spey rods down at Watt Avenue this next Saturday morning, August 18, from about 9:00am till noon.
If you like wading in larger rivers for Steelhead you should be looking into Spey/Two-handed casting. It's not for everyone but it is 'catching' on here in Sacramento.
We are very lucky to have the lower American River here in Sacramento which is a perfect place for Spey casting plus we have one of the few FFF Certified Spey casing instructors, Jeff Putnam.
We also have some great local Spey casters here in town who are having a huge influence on the spreading of the sport.
