Ross Gunnison G-2 + Spare Spool

I have a Ross Gunnison G-2 and spare spool I'm no longer needing (bought 2wt TFO rod from Kienes today and THE WIFE decided I don't need as many reels). It was rarely used and comes with backing and 6 wt 444 Lazerline floating line (great shape). The reel is used, but I would give it a 9.7 out of 10 rating. It has never been dropped and comes with the Ross Reels leather pouch. Local pick-up only, unless you have a PayPal account and pay for shipping. First $200 takes them.

* I believe it is a post 98 model.

Given the case and finish that is looking pre-98, by a couple years. I believe a phone call to Ross would straighten it out. I actually prefer the pre-98's they are better reels in my experience.

The drag construction is definitely different, too; that is the way Ross distinguishes pre-98 vs. post 98.

Thanks to all for for clearing it up. My friend has a G-2 with the different hole pattern and thought his was a pre '98. I picked the opposite and guessed wrong. Thanks again.

Either way it's a great deal. If I hadn't just spent a pile of money on a new rod for striped bass I would buy it. Paul
