Premier lower Klamath River fly fishing guide Bruce Slightom reported that he caught an adult Steelhead a week ago last Saturday and 5 Halfpounders on Thursday.
We are headed up for a "quickie" on August 22 so that sounds exciting.
Sept/Oct is the prime time in the lower Klamath but there are fish in there now.
Problem with this time of year, August, is that the good fly fishing bite is usually early and late so we might take a big break mid-day in the heat. Sometimes we even take a nap?
