They have been over there for a while now, maybe 10 years? Probably more.
He use to fish here with us a long time ago actually when I fished a lot more locally.
We fished back then around Sacramento with Mike Ziem, Bob Giannoni, Galen Geller, Phil Romig, Paul Keel, Jimmy Potter, Cal Guin, Al Perryman, Bob Long, Craig Ziegler, Vince Dutcher, Joe Shirshac, Skip Orr, Al Fong and many others. Most of the old CFFU, California Fly Fishers Unlimited members where part of the big group of fly fishers in Sacramento in the 1960s and 1970s in particular.
I guess those were our "good old days"?
Some old timers are gone now but they had wonderful lives here after WWII.
I'm sure my brother will be around the shop a bit as soon as he gets move back here and settled in. He is funnier than I am and a far better fisherman.
