Computer Question

I have a bunch of photo's stored in iMac and it seems like alot of them I can't carry over into iMovie or Powerpoint.
Something to do with TIFF. Is this like PDF files where I have to down load something into the computer to get these photo's to print out

Jay,

A .tiff file is an image file like a .jpg (JPEG) or .gif. I don't think either program recognizes the .tiff format. I think you need to convert them into jpegs to use them.
