Well i've been there and i was not disappointed!!
Everything i have heard and read about was true!!
The people were great, and the bone's were easy pleased..
I loved it and will return as soon as the wife let's me [-o<
I caught about 50 bones, with the biggest about 5 pounds.
I saw some really big GT's around the 50 pound mark..
The guide i had was from the Captain Cook Hotel and his name was eccite (ecces). He was a fantastic and a very patient guide with good spotting eye's!!I would recommend him to anyone going over and definatly use him again!!

A 17 wt. w/ a 50 lb. point .

Or ..... you could just use a 200 lb. handline attached to a cleat -

Trevor is a bad ol' fish ........

Good Trip! How did you get there, where and how long did you stay? How many days did you fish?

Hi Tim!
It was a great trip, very memorable.
I flew from Australia to Fiji and then from Fiji to C I.
We stayed at the Captain Cook Hotel for 8 days and fished everyday.
Some day's were harder then others, but i caught fish every day i was there.
