Rob
all three of those could easily be a magazine cover! I am dead serious, That first one just took my breath away!
Great work!
Jay
Thanks.
Those were taken around 35 mile from my home. I sat on the dirt road by the old building for over 2 1/2 hrs praying that the sunset would work. As everything started to glow, i got goose bumps all over. :D

I really liked the first picture, very nice Rob. That was fortunate to find 3 raccoons on the same post, they looked very surprised.

There was actually 4 , but i could not get the bottom one in the photo. Mom was standing 30' away and making a popping noise with her TEETH. I am glad for auto focus, because i was watching her more than the baby's.
The colors are as i saw them , no photoshop , just some awesome work by the big guy up stairs.

That first picture is incredible, great job.
It would be interesting to see the same picture in the middle of the day to get a feel of what it normally looks like.
Thanks !!!
That shot was taken at 100 iso , f 5.6 and -1 stop under exsposed.
I took one at normal , one at -1 and one at -2 stops , the one at - 2 stops under was too dark.

Great composition Rob, making the Rainbow end in the house in cool. I also like the mountains in the bake. Nice contrast as well.

Beautiful, man...just beautiful.
That old saying " it's better to be lucky than good " comes to mind with this last photo. I saw this full double rainbow but could not get the whole thing in my camera , so i drove like a crazy man  over to the old foundation and when i got there the rainbow was lined up perfect . The rainbow lasted over 30 minutes and i kept watching it in my rear mirror as i drove to the old building. I WAS VERY LUCKY !!!!!!!!

That's a great shot Rob! Since it's basically the same angle as the 1st shot, it's amazing the rainbow lined up like that. Very cool!
