In many larger rivers in the Northwest Steelhead start to enter somewhere around the 4th of July.
Some have entered the lower Rogue, lower Klamath, Umpqua, Deschutes and some others too.
Catching them in mid-summer is not as easy as it can be in the Fall especially with a little weather but they are in there.
From year to year these number vary and these are a very precious fishery.
