Upper Klamath Lake could give you a life time fishing story you won't ever forget. The Redband trout come out of the warm water of the Lake to seek the cool water of the Williamson R., Wood R., and Rocky Point Resort on Pelican Bay, and a few others that i don't know about. In 4 days of fishing I only landed 6 fish, and 3 very big fish broke me off    , also one afternoon i had 3 head shakes in a row. Denny Rickards had his boat docked right in back of our tent, and on 2 early mornings ( denny starts early 5:30) i found myself fishing right next to Denny R., so i knew i was fishing in the right spot. Rocky Point Resort has a 5 lbs. or bigger bulletin board, and i only land one fish 5.1 lbs. to put on the board. I took a fast picture of the 5.1 lbs Redband, and almost kill the fish, all the fish are stress out, it took me 10 mins of working the fish back and forth before it swam away. http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w300/eugene047/upperklamathlake075.jpg
