Bill Carnazzo just returned from a 2 day 'float n camp' trip down the last 20 miles of the Grand Ronde River which is also famous for Fall Steelheading.

It flows into the Snake River.

In the summer it is the best Smallmouth Bass river in the Western USA.

This is still mostly a secret but will be getting around fast.

Average size fish are twice as big as the Lower Umpqua River and lower John Day River Smallmouth.

Bill will have a report up soon as he gets all the photos together.
