Trout fishing in Hawaii

Aloha, just got back from Kauai and the opening of trout season over there. I fished with my son and the TU guys from Oahu, including Louie Da fish. It was a great father's day weekend. Kokee is very beautiful, and we had fun fishing the streams and resevoir.

Great post Don, looks like you had a perfect Father's Day. I've heard about some trout fishing in Hawaii before, very strange, trout fishing in Hawaii is like marlin fishing in Iceland :lol:

Hey, what was that pink stuff you were using for backing on our bone trip? I need some -- sent you an email while you were in the backcountry (ask Joy).

They have baby baby tarpon in Malaysia, I think you need to get some for the pond. Developed a good milk fish fly yet? I have been thinking about it.
