Fished a good 2-3 hours on foot from Hallwood upstream. No shad seen, no bites. Saw quite a few cars parked - and a few other fishermen - but nobody caught a thing.

Good looking water and water temp (65). Just no catching.

Wow-perfect time of the day if they were there.
I gotta believe what Bill said in an earlier post that on low Yuba water years they tend to stay in the Sac. and Feather.
