Would like to trade minty Sage Xi2 8 weight for 11 or 12 weight high end, very nice to mint saltwater rod. Moved here to Hawaii to coach at U of H and own 8s, an Xi2 10, have a Burkheimer 9 weight saltwater stick coming, and want to fill the quiver with a sweet 11 or 12 to target everything here in Hawaii. Just another misplaced steelheader from Washington. Coachduff@hotmail.com

A 896 Xi2? Didn't know they made anything but 9 footers in the 8 weight.

One of my best friends has one and it's one heck of a nice steelhead stick. I'm pretty sure it's an xi2 but it could be an xi it's been a couple months since I cast it and my memory isn't the greatest. But I thought it would be worth asking.

I think that is an RPLXi

It looks like you already have a 9wt. but if your interested in trading the 8wt sage for a 9 wt Orvis trident let me know. It's heavy as a rock and casts more like a heavy 10 or a light 11wt. I can throw the entire head of the streamer express line on it (approx. 35') and it loads good with that weight.

Thanks-
