...off I-80 about 1/4 mile after Meadow Vista/Clipper Gap Exit.

Has anyone ever fished there? I remember fishing it with salmon eggs as a 8 year old, but got skunked one time and never went back. Recently when i drive by on the way home from Truckee (in the evening) its got quite a crowd casting away on the shore.

If you're talking about the lake on the right side of the road heading east on I-80, it used to be a PG&E lake. Not sure what it's status is now. At one time it was filled with Bass and sunnies but was dewatered several times after that. Don't know if it has anything in it now. :? :? :? I think there may be a fly shop in Auburn you could call about this lake :?: :?: Can't recall the name of it tho. :? :?
