We just received a new Scott 'ARC' 9'6" #6 - 4pc and a 9'7" #7 - 4pc today. Hot rods in Nor Cal.

Those are SWEET sticks, Bill.
The 9.5-7wt and the 9.5-8wt ARCs are my go-to singlehanders for winter fishing.
Was just looking for a 6 wt. the other day on e-bay. May have to save a few shekels and pay you a visit.

p.s.-does the 6wt have the little fighting butt on the end of the rod?

last year Scott brought back the HP series for a short time and this year they brought back the ARC - In my opinion two of the finest series of rods ever designed!!!

I do not particluarly care for the grip on the ARC series but love how they handle short and long lines!!

I agree, the HP series were powerful and easy to cast. I had the pleasure to cast a 8'8" 12wt HeliPly, what and enjoyable experience. That heavy line weighted rod cast much better than it's more modern predecessors.
