Sly Park mix bag

The blue moon slow down the bite at Sly Park a little, but in 3hrs of float tubing i caught 9 smallmouth, 5 rainbow's, 1 spotted bass, 1 bluegill. Sly Park is a scenic lake when full, and the back part of the lake has a 5 mph speed limit.

Very nice Gene, sounds like you did GREAT! May I ask what flies you were using and how you fished them?

I used a wiggle tail size 8 2499SPBL hook, with gold and green tail of marabou. with a collar of ice dub olive and yellow, and a little of seal sub dubbing.

Thanks Gene! Like most folks, I'm always curious what they hit. I've tied a few wiggle tails for my box as well, although not in that color combination -- I'll have to tie some of those up too. :D Definitely something to be said for a fly that serves dual purpose on smallies and rainbows. 8)
