Casting Sage 11' #8 line Switch rod.

We were casting a new Sage 'Switch rod' yesterday with an Airflo 40+ #8 line Intermediate. That line runs a little heavy.

You have to come by and cast it. With two hands it was effortless.

Bill, that's the same rod I cast at the Pleasanton show and you're correct about it. Casting is effortless. 8) 8) 8)

For true spey casting the Skagit 600 floater is the way to go with that rod. Too heavy for overhead but perfect for single/double/circle spey.
