It looks like a crazy colored whistler. Nothing looks bad, they're pretty simple and basic. Your fly looks fine. Good luck catching fish with it.

well, its purple because i heard that purple is the last color to be overtaken by murky water, and the salmon up here seem to like whistlers, so i took purple rabbit strip and used it for the collar instead of chenille and saddle.

Hmmmm,.... That fly is big enough to qualify as a bird.
Why use a weedguard on this fly :?: :?: :?: Are the fish located in a snaggy area :?: :?: :?:

Have you tried casting this fly yet :?: :?: If not, I'd be interested in knowing how this fly behaves while casting. 8) 8)

actually, the hook has a wound on wire weedguard, and i like the hook, so i figured why not. I am not sure if i have quite the cahones to try to cast this yet, anything bigger than a clouser gives me a bit of trouble

The cool thing about tying your own flies is the fact you don't ever have to tie two flies alike.

it behaved really well while casting, i shot out my whole line, and it wasnt even a struggle, it did take some caution on the back cast, but over all this fly was an success, im going to tie up 9 more
