Sometimes the Delta Bassin' can be so hot you can't spare the time for basic human needs:
Hungry? - Chew on yer lip!
Thirsty? - Suck yer tongue!
Need a pee? - Just cross yer legs and clench!
This morning was just so. Started off foraging around the tullie islands of Middle River. Found fish from the off, especially in the skinny, sparse reeds that fringe the main bank. Then I crossed the slough and worked the rip rap as the tide neared bottom Had one intense 10 minute spell where it seemed every cast was being hit by a good fish.
The breezy, overcast conditions gave me fish all the way down the tide and good fish too. Best boga'd at 6lb. Here she is

But the highlight was when I flicked the bug up onto a hyacinth bank next to a clump of tullies and plopped it into the jaws of this 4.5 lber:
