FISH ON !!!!!!

Heading to baja tomrrow. Can't wait to get into something that's going to pull and reveal some new backing. I'm taking down a rod a friend of mine made. Hopefully it'll get broken in on a marlin or sail. My goal is too use this heavy stick and see if I can land a big skip jack within two minutes. I heard there's still some yellow fin and a few sails in the area right now. Some skippies have tipped the scales at 13 to 16lbs already.

Got a bunch of Koshi's walkers (zara spooks) to try out on the roosters and jacks. Damn, I'm already excited but not even packed yet. Still tying flies.

I'll post reports a couple times a week.

Calm down. I'm wound up from a quad shots of Expresso this morning.
I only got 3 hours sleep this morning. Too many things to wrap up. One is flies and the other is my article for southwest ff mag.

Gotta make sure the check in bag is under 50lbs. Looks like it might be 49lbs.
