Malakoff Diggins/Humbug Creek

I am going on a field trip with sons 8th grade class in a couple of weeks to Malakoff Diggins SHP and was wondering if there is any decent fishing there. I noticed that Humbug Creek flows by the park and thought it might offer a possibility. Any ideas woould be appreciated. Thanks.

Humbug can be OK. I'd fish the NF. Yuba. You are about 35-45 minutes from it. Also if you are into swimming hit up the SF Yuba bridge (cross old bridge trail North side of river and walk up). Also try Deer Creek through Nevada City.
