Hi Everyone,

1. I have a HARDY FLYWEIGHTt with nice dt 3wt floating line (can't remember the brand of the line but I bought it at kienes so they can probably tell you what it is just by looking at it) Make me an offer on this reel as I'm not sure what they are selling for used. I think they still sell for about 400 new.

2. Ross Colorado 0 with DT 3wt floating line $75.00

Both reels are in excellent condition.

Send me a pm if interested.

Thanks!

We heard rumor that Hardy was going from being made in England to maybe made in China (or Korea, Tiawan?) now because they have the same problem we have here in the USA with high cost of doing business.

Hi Bill,

What do you think a fair price is for this reel with nice line?

$200- $300 depending on condition.

That is a nice classic 2-3 weight reel.

I think new ones in 2007 are $495.

That is why they are going overseas.

Thanks Bill!

Those that are interested... the condition is like new with case.

Thanks

Check e-bay for recent comparable sales. Value is dependent on age, condition, and model. The two-screw lineguards are more valuable than the one-screw, and the original ones that aren't ported can be worth even more.

General price range is from 100 from something really beat up but still fishable to 400+ for mint in the most desireable models. Most one-screw line guards (recent versions) are going for $200-$300 depending on condition. The $300 one would be unfished with box, case, papers etc.

The used market has plenty of supply so few people are willing to pay 2007 prices when they can get a slightly used one for a lot less (Bill you've probably seen this with the drop in sales at retail.
