Anyone happen to catch Bass Masters on ESPN2 this weekend - only reason I watched it is I heard it would be a tournament on Clear Lake - just down the road from me - well records for largest stringers fell big time - 4 day total was over 120# with quite a few breaking the 100# mark - these fish were huge! They were using soft plastic baits that imitated bait fish and were up to 10" long - needed to go big to keep the small 4# to 6# bass from hitting the lures!!!!

Pretty amazing fish are coming out of that lake right now!

Clear Lake and the Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta both have very large black bass.
