Pontoon boat found on L Sac

Please email me if you are the owner or know of the owner who lost a pontoon boat on the Lower Sac last week. The boat was found pinned on a tree in the river-right side channel below the sewer treatment plant. Thanks.

The boat will be re-united with the owner this weekend. Apparently the oar popped off when going down a fast riffle and he couldn't paddle away from the strainer. The boat was pinned on a tree and so was he untill he cut away from the branches. His waders filled with water and he had to cut a slice in each leg to drain out the water before sinking. Luckliy the guy is alright, although he still sounded a little shaken up.

We got a phone call today that said he is OK because he was wearing a life jacket.....thank God.
