Just returned from a ski vaca with my family to beautiful lake tahoe.
I forgot how beautiful this area is despite living there over 25 years ago.
My family and myself are very adventurous skiers and look for the steepest and deepest terrain. Man is Tahoe full of that stuff!!!!
We had beautiful weather, which included an all night snowstorm that dumped close to 2 feet of champaigne powder! We were in heaven!
We skied heavenly valley the first day. Then it dumped that night and we went to sierra-tahoe to enjoy all the fresh deep powder at that wonderful little mountain.
Next day was off to Kirkwood where the 115 mph winds kept the upper lifts closed  We still made the most of it.
The final day was at squaw valley. O....M....G!!!!!!! Squaw Valley was my vision of paradise! More terrain than you could ski in a month. Steep chutes, huge powder feilds and high speed detachable lifts.
I could easily give up flyfishing to live at and ski squaw every winter!
Sorry for the totally off topic (nonflyfishing) report. I am a certified ski junky
Here are a few photos.

This was a little added bonus. The Mythbusters team was staying at the same hotel as us and we got some picture with some of them....my son was beside himself!!!
