I spent a few days swinging fly's on the Chetco and Elk. I really loved the new 7136 Z-Axis spey rod!!!!
This is my first official Steelie on the swing with a spey rod to the net!!

Nice fish and pics. Glad you hooked your first fish on the spey rod. Your ruined for life now!

Floating with a guide named Gino.
He is the man on the OR coast for sure!!!

Great report and accomplishment JR!

You are right about the "big guy". Gino graciously taught me just about everything I know about winter steelheading on the Southern Oregon coast. He is good. Matt.
