Hooks on a Plane!

I was wondering if I am able to carry hooks in my carry on luggage.

I believe that would be a "no." Rods and reels seem to be o.k. though. Pack the flies.

I have carried flies on the plane many times. The only time I had trouble was coming home from Mexico. They wouldnt allow it, and it really sucked. I had to huff it back to the ticket counter, and since my bags were already loading, I had to put them in a seperate cardboard box, compliments of SJD. Did I mention it really sucked??!!

What Jbird says. My flies had to go in the same box after a run back to the ticket counter and then a run back to the gate and through security.It's not worth it.
