As my boat was hitched and the truck loaded with gear from Monday's trip to the Delta, I decided to try the Forebay this afternoon. Though the object of the quest was stripers, I managed only one, a nice 4 pounder. However I did stumble upon a good largemouth bite and managed to catch 12 nice chunky fish all on a small chartruse over white Clouser.
