Well, the fishin' drought ended today! I hit the Delta for the first time this year. After all the talk at Bill's shop last Saturday, I developed a bad case of topwateritis and turned it into action today. Beautiful day out there and the fish co-operated fairly well givin' the time of year..( I think I like this global warmin') Got about a dozen or so to hand and missed several more. My timin' was kinda' rusty..Too quick on the draw!! As usual the Wall Hangers eluded me again!

Good work Mike. I was talking to some of the bass tournament guys on Sunday night at the Sugar Barge. They were telling me that the fish were already hitting topwater, sometimes as soon as their hardware splashed the surface. They were pretty amazed themselves given it was the 11th of March!
