First Kiene's BB fish-out for 2007 - Postponded

David Lee, Ed Wahl and I were thinking of a pot luck barbeque and afternoon fish-out at Cameron Park Lake up hwy 50 on Saturday, March 24, 2007?

I think it would be nice to meet up there at around noon and have a pot luck lunch and BS session.

Then get out on the lake in the afternoon and fish till dark.

If we have bad weather just before the trip we might think of postponing it.

I hope some of you are planning to attend.

I'm bringing my portable barbeque.

It's a great place to bring the family because there is a great big grassy area right on the lake.

I would think the afternoon /evening fishing would be very good now.

I know I can call to ask this question but do they allow electric motors? If so I think I'll try to make this my wifes first outing. It would be a lot easier if I know I can fish her from the boat and get her into some fat bluegill.

Hey, I'm doing a Pyramid outing that weekend (planned for the last two months). I think we need a little more lead time than @10 days...sorry for the sobbing :( How about planning something again in April or early May? Anyone want to check out Collins with me? I have camped there before; pretty nice place before it gets too hot.

Sounds like it has not really warmed up enough yet to be good for bass in Cameron Park lake?

We need a date for this in a few weeks.

We need a weekend fish-out date after our annual Expo (April 21) for another serious LMB event at Lunborg Landing in the Delta too.



KD told me that May was his top month in the Delta for black bass.
