Leaders and Flurocarbon tippet material

At the end of a leader, I need to connect the 20 lb. regular Maxima to a 30 lb. Maxima flurocarbon tippet (for toothy critters). Will the differing diameters of the two make it difficult - or what knots are best. Any help appreciated.

A Triple Surgeon's Knot should work for you. I wouldn't worry about the different diameters of line.

[FISHEYE]

The surgeons should work (it is actually a 3 turn surgeon since a surgeon knot involves two turns). Another good knot for this is a slim beauty.
