where do u guys go to repair ur pc's? I think mine is kinda broken... the internet is SLOWWWWwwwwww

Here are some things you might do to yours first:

Restart your PC once a week if you keep it running all the time.

Turn off the power to you modem for a few minutes too.

Go to your Internet Tools and delete some of your 'temporary files'.

Go to 'Windows Update' and look for new updates.

Go to your system tools under 'Accessories' and run the 'Disc Defragmenter'.

You can do a 'Disc Cleanup' too.

Down load 'Spybot' which is a free software to find spy-ware embedded in your PC.

Think about adding some RAM if you have less than 1 GIG?

Do you have 'dial-up', DSL or Comcast Cable?

Make sure you have an up to date anti-virus software.

I have SBC DSL and whenever I notice my connection getting slow or stopping altogether, I always perform the following routine as a first fix (which almost always does the trick):

1. I close my internet browser and connection to the internet.
2. I right-click on the Internet Explorer icon on my desktop and click on properties. I then delete the cache and temporary internet files.
3. I turn off the computer.
4. I unplug the DSL modem from the wall, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
5. I wait until all green lights are up on the DSL modem and have stopped blinking.
6. I turn the computer back on. I'm almost always good to go at that point.

Face it, if you run Windows and IE, you are subject to spyware and viruses,
that will slow down your system or render it useless.

Get a ROUTER, or re-install your operating system every year.

Better yet, get a MAC
