Just finished up my frog pattern. Now all I have to do is figure out what I want to use for legs. I used olive bucktail before but want to try some thing new. I hope to finish it tonight so I can throw it tomorrow in the Forebay.

Jay,

I like the Messinger Style of Froglegs. The are easy to tie and kick good when retrieving. Here's one using Messinger leg with a Dalhberg head. I hope this helps.

Thanks Steve. I'll post a photo of my frog just as soon as I take a picture. I made the legs out of bucktail and .039 stainless wire. Lot's of spring in the legs.

Yes, but a fishie one. I've caught a few LMB on this pattern. Enough to keep tieing them!

I like it. I think that combination of a Dahlberg head and frog legs is really cool! Wish I would have thought of it myself, ha. I'll have to tie some up one of these days. 8)
