I have a couple of things I need.

I've been looking for some oars for my pram. I want them in 5' length and heavy duty in the body. Also oar locks

I also want to know where I can find a good photo of a frog. I want to copy the body for my hair frogs. I have a couple tied all ready but they don't quite look like frogs to me. Although the legs do kick back and forth

Jay,

Don't have any frog pics but I do have a frog fly pattern story. Back in the early 80's went out for a few beers with my buddy and his girlfriend. Had just come up with the frog pattern to end all frog patterns: the Frogbo. So we are throwing back some cold ones and I blurt out that I have revolutionized fly tying in the frog area and that I'm going to make a million dollars on it. The woman becomes hysterical, crying wildly and saying "all you guys care about is money"!!! She cried for fifteen minutes. It was a terrible scene out in public. You'd have thought we had killed her dog and telling her how good it ate!!! Real nightmare.

Needless to say, I have never tied another frog imitation. The trauma of that night twenty five years was too much to bear. Until now, I have not been able to publically speak about frog patterns. Maybe the healing process has begun.

I believe the feature on the Frogbo I was touting was the legs. Think I put a square knot in a bunch of peacock. Every fish loves peacock and gave the frog good swimming action. If you make a million on the idea, buy me a beer and I will promise to cry.

Jay, the internet is your friend. Use google, click on "images" and type "frog" in the search window.

(ok, so they're not all frogs.. but you get the idea) :D

It's a perfect pic of a northern leoprad frog (Rana pipians). Excellent color and patterning.
Cheers, Obi
