Good hotel close to the American ???

We have out-of-town BB guys coming up the weekend of the 15th -

Any ideas where a good , cheap , clean hotel would be ??? Close to the A would be a good thing .....

Hmmmm,.... There's a hotel/motel at the south entrance to Discovery off Richards Blvd and one near the McDonalds on the other side of the freeway on Richards, as well. There're a other hotels in that area, also. 8)

There're several hotels along Folsom Blvd around Bradshaw, several at Zinfandel and Hwy 50, a couple at Sunrise and Hwy 50 too. 8) 8) I couldn't tell you how much they cost, tho. Lotsa choices. 8) 8) 8)

I've only stayed in two: below the Watt Ave bridge and the Howe Ave bridge. I like Howe better, less traffic and lighter cars. Those trucks will keep you up all night and the bridge flex was frightening. Though it did give me the kick in the pants to fish at night for stripers. Nothing better than striper cooked in a semi-cleaned can of Van De Camps beans over an open fire. Good times.
